Immersive, collaborative, transformative—that’s the Harvard Pre-College Program. As a rising high school junior or senior participating in our noncredit residential program, you spend two weeks living and learning at Harvard.

You attend class daily, exploring a topic in depth with Harvard faculty or visiting scholars. Outside of class, you participate in college prep activities, complete class assignments, and attend social events.

This is an opportunity for you to thrive independently—as a thinker and an individual—while in a dynamic, supportive environment.  

In the summer Harvard Pre-College Program you:

• Grow as a critical thinker and engaged citizen.
• Focus on learning over achievement. Here, we all learn on an equal plane. We dispense with the typical markers of success (no grades) so you develop a commitment to your own growth and that of your peers.
• Practice the art of healthy debate, delving into thought-provoking conversations and learning to embrace controversy diplomatically. 
• Receive a written evaluation from your instructor at the end of the program.
